Midland and North Western Section - New Merseyrail class 777 rolling stock - Rescheduled and online
28 May 2020 5:15 PM - 7:15 PM
Section: Midland & North Western Section

Rescheduled and changed to an online talk!

Merseyrail in Liverpool is the most heavily used urban railway network outside London. The network is an intensive metro-style network of local DC electric passenger rail services within Merseyside and adjacent areas of Cheshire and Lancashire, along with a number of underground stations.

Merseyrail is currently rolling out new 'connected' Class 777 trains and an extensive trackside network-wide wi-fi system to provide 100Mbps data connectivity to all trains for high quality, real time CCTV, voice and datalinks.

Join the Midland and North Western Section online to hear David Powell, programme director - rolling stock, to talk about the new train programme.

Booking is essential. To register for this free talk, please book via Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/new-merseyrail-class-777-connected-trains-tickets-104140737750.

IRSE members and non-members are welcome.
