London & SE section presentation: IRSE's Minor Railways Section - what, where, who and why?
27 Oct 2022 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Section: London & SE section (londonse@irse.org)

All are invited to London & SE's section online presentation on the IRSE's Minor Railways Section.

The Minor Railways section of the IRSE aims to bring together interested and likeminded individuals from heritage railways of all scales, gauges and interests, signalling, telecoms and operations. Dominic Belgin, chair of the section, will be telling us more about their activities.

As an organisation within the IRSE, they operate visits, to signalling and heritage installations, railways and signal boxes as well as acting as a conduit to get people and businesses talking to each other.

During the COVID lockdowns, the section started a Facebook and YouTube channel with the aim of allowing people to virtually visit signalling locations when no one was allowed to visit. This has continued and is now a popular weekly update, with regular videos and news stories shared by many railways, organisations and individuals.

This meeting will be held online only using GoToMeeting - please register via Eventbrite before 17:00 on 27 October on the following link -https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/irse-lse-minor-railways-section-tickets-414687540597?aff=web

IRSE members and non-members are welcome to join us.
