Booking has opened for the 2022 IRSE Professional examinations!

Please use the 'book now' link below to book your slot for the Certificate being held on Saturday 1 October 2022. This year, Education & Professional Development Committee have agreed that candidates can book either the Certificate or between 1 and 3 of the Advanced Diploma modules (modules B, C and/or D). See below and the candidate guide for further details / requirements.

Certificate in Railway Control Engineering Fundamentals covers all aspects of railway control engineering at a foundation level, meaning that it is suitable for a wide group of people working on or around railway control engineering.

• IRSE members and non-members can sit this exam module
• The cost is £115
• It is a computer-based exam
• There are no exam centres, candidates choose where they sit their module on their own computer - somewhere quiet with reliable internet
• It is a closed-book exam (no text books / reference material allowed)
• It will be remotely invigilated
• There are 11 timeslots across the day to suit individual candidates
• All timeslot timings are given in Universal Coordinated Time (UTC)
