Signalling the Future 2025

Full day conference now available for purchase on-demand - Click here to buy (scroll down for information)

Signalling the Future was hosted in London UK on 31 January 2025, delivering expert engineering and operational insights into European Train Control System (ETCS) and Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) technologies, examining real-world implementations and performance data from railway signalling and communication systems around the globe.

The event featured an exciting line-up of international speakers from organizations across Australia, France, India, Netherlands, Singapore, and the UK. Technical presentations covered both mass transit and mainline applications, including detailed case studies of recent ETCS Level 2 deployments, CBTC optimisation strategies, and cyber security considerations for digital railway systems.

Each of the four sessions was followed by a Q&A session with the live audience in the room.

This seminar addresses the question; ‘How can we better collaborate to overcome challenges and signal a better future for our sector?’ Read the IRSE News' report of the day here (extract from IRSE News 320 April 2025)
