Exam News - Certificate in Railway Control Engineering Fundamentals and Advance Diploma of Railway Control Engineering

October 2022 News

The following is for those who have booked to sit the Certificate (Module A) or modules for the Advanced Diploma (Modules B, C and D) on Saturday 1 October 2022:

All candidates are reminded that the IRSE exams are closed book examinations - ensure that you have only what is required for your exam open and close all other books, apps, programs, etc

 

Reminder for 30 September - the IRSE team will be finishing their working days early for them to prepare for the shift patterns of the full exam day on 1 October (they will be available for emergencies from 01:00 UTC until 22:00 UTC - please see the candidate guides for information on how to contact them)

29 September: All candidates have been re-sent details of how to complete their mandatory registration for the remote proctoring software, reminders of their time bookings and passwords.  There is no opportunity to change any timeslots or give any refunds.

26 August: all candidates have been sent details of how to access their practice exams

  • all are encouraged to use the online practice sessions to familiarise themselves with the software and the types of questions
  • Certificate (Module A) candidates have the opportunity to sit the same practice exam two times - they will be able to see feedback on their answers
  • Module B-D candidates have the opportunity to sit the same practice exam(s) as many times as they wish
  • No practice exams will be marked
  • Updated candidate guides (v2) are in the document library below and in the exam support resources libraries
