Apply for Professional Registration 

Becoming professionally registered can be one of the greatest things you add to your CV. Being registered provides a benchmark through which the public, employers and clients can have confidence and trust that you have met globally recognised professional standards in engineering knowledge, understanding and competence. Registration also demonstrates your commitment to maintaining professional standards and to continuing to develop your knowledge and understanding. 

The IRSE is licensed by the Engineering Council to register the grades of:

How to apply

As per registration with the Engineering Council, it is the requirement that applicants for Registration (EngTech, IEng and CEng) must be a member of a licensed Institution first. If you do not yet hold membership of the IRSE we can assist you in first obtaining this and then assist you with your registration application. 

If you already hold IRSE membership (of any grade) simply complete the initial application form below and send it along with your academic certificates, full transcript copies (record of subjects studied and marks) and a copy of your up-to-date, full CV to registration@irse.org.

If you wish to transfer your Engineering council registration (EngTech, IEng or CEng) title from another institution please contact us.
