Scottish Section lecture 'Very High Throughput Satellite (VHTS) communications for Rail'

The cost of deploying infrastructure along the rail corridor to support enhanced and traditional wireless telecoms use cases (ETCS, passenger broadband etc.) is a constant challenge. The imminent arrival of Very High Throughput Satellite communications via Medium-/Low-Earth Orbit constellations is allowing us to look at some interesting alternative solutions.
