London & SE section presentation: Network Rail's Level Crossing Innovations

The IRSE London & South-East Section welcomes Darren Witts and Angie Adams from Network Rail’s Level Crossing team at the Technical Authority.

They will be sharing some of the latest innovations recently approved in this specialism. Join us for a behind the scenes look at several new or improved products that are helping Network Rail to fulfil their Safety and Technology strategy.

Angie Adams, Principal Engineer Level Crossing Technology, was formerly involved in Project Engineering for Traffic Management systems and other major (conventional) resignalling projects. She is currently leading the approval team for Product Approval and Innovation in Level Crossing related technology.

Darren Witts is a Principal Engineer in the Level Crossings engineering team. He is currently leading on the application requirements for new systems, research & development projects for new products and systems and the development of new and updated standards.

This will be an on-line presentation using GotoMeeting. Details will be sent before the meeting to those that register.
