The following information on the AGM has been provided by Trevor Foulkes, Chair of the LSE section:

Voting:

It will not be possible to approve items by the normal method of a show of hands so instead I will adopt an approach of no-objection. So after an item has been submitted for adoption, I will ask if there are any objections and give people about a minute to respond. If you wish to object then unmute your microphone and say “I Object”. If using a computer or smart phone you unmute by pressing the microphone symbol. If you are on a phone line you press the star (*) key followed by six (6). The same key strokes (*6) will mute your line again. If the objection is easy to address then I will attempt to in the meeting, however if too complicated we may need to carry the item over to another occasion.

Questions:

If you have a question and are on a computer then please use the chat facility to send a message to the Organizer. The chat facility is accessed by pressing the speech bubble symbol if you are using a computer. I will also give time for questions from the phone lines when you will need to unmute your line as described under Voting above.
