Register now for the IRSE Minor Railways and IRSE Midland & North Western Sections joint visit to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways

Join the Minor Railways and Midland & NW Sections for their joint visit to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 May 2024 for £50 per person.

The provisional plan is that the visit will start at 12:00 on the Friday at Porthmadog Harbour, with a visit to Boston Lodge Developments and Porthmadog Signal Box. Saturday will involve an early (08:00) start for a special train to Caernafon, a visit to Dinas shed, Beddgelert ETS instruments, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Minffordd yard and depot. There will be an optional free day on the Sunday for visitors to explore the railways on their own.

Stout shoes and orange hi-vis are required.
